The shuffle is an urban dance that has become fashionable in recent years through its dissemination on YouTube or on social networks, where girls and boys of all ages share videos in which the movement of the feet takes everything the prominence.
The shuffle is a more or less easy dance to learn, it is based on combinations of heel-toe movements and dragging the feet. A series of basic steps with which each person can build different shuffle sequences.
Although it is a modern dance, the shuffle is very reminiscent of tap dancing, as it is performed simultaneously with both feet, with prolonged movements. The current shuffle originated in Melbourne, Australia, in the early 1990s. It was here that the dance took the name Melbourne Shuffle. Since then, its fame has not stopped growing and it has become very popular among fans of EDM or electronic music festivals, being practiced by millions of fans around the world.
