Starting ballroom dancing at the age of 12, Lara fell in love with dance. Dancing Waltz, Cha-cha-cha and other classical dances she could call the dance school her second home. When she moved to Stuttgart, Germany, for her studies, Lara began to dance Salsa online. She liked it a lot, but when she found Cuban Salsa in a school in Düsseldorf, a whole world opened up to her that she wanted to know more about.
From that moment she began to travel to festivals around the world to learn from the best teachers and learn more about Cuban popular dances and everything related to Cuban culture and music, such as folkloric dances or Afro-Cuban dances.
Living in Barcelona since 2021, Lara had the opportunity to dance in the Triana Doce Company and, to this day, is part of the Tim Manana Company, directed by Cristian Mauricio Vera, 2022 Rueda de Casino World Champions.
